About
Grapevine Strategies was founded by Meghan Schneider, a veteran political strategist with over a decade of experience using communications as a tool to drive legislative and electoral change. As the former Campaigns Director and Senior Communications Advisor at Groundwork Action, Meghan led multi-faceted coalition campaigns spanning a range of issues, including IRS modernization, government funding, and tax reform. Prior to joining the Groundwork team, Meghan led state communications at Climate Power, where she transformed climate into a kitchen table issue. Meghan has worked on two presidential campaigns in her home state of Iowa.
Meghan also has extensive international experience, studying and conducting research throughout South America and Europe. During the Ebola epidemic, Meghan worked on the ground with Liberian civil servants and community leaders to strengthen public health initiatives by building trust in government. Meghan worked closely with musicians, artists, and filmmakers on creative campaigns to combat Ebola and expose corruption.
Meghan holds dual master’s degrees in Public Relations and International Relations from Syracuse’s top-rated S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Maxwell School of Public Citizenship & Public Affairs.
